bBuilt in 1868 for Mr Duncan McKellar and probably designed by Mr Alfred Scurry, this large single storey brick homestead with cellars has a verandah on three sides with elegant close coupled columns with a very simple and attractive timber valance. There are two unusual wrought iron ridge finials with a botanical motif which are noteworthy. Various additions and alterations were done in 1880, 1900 and 1926.
